Slow Cooker Spiced Tea

This slow cooker spiced tea recipe offers a convenient way to enjoy a deliciously healthy beverage with warm, comforting flavors. The spices and honey create a delightful blend thats perfect for sipping on a chilly day.

Ingredients:

  • 8 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 cup honey adjust to taste
  • 1 lemon, sliced for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions:

In a slow cooker, combine water, black tea bags, cinnamon stick, cloves, ginger, nutmeg, and cardamom

Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours

Once done, remove tea bags and strain the tea to remove spices

Stir in honey until dissolved

Serve hot, garnished with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves
