Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 can coconut cream
- 1 cup vegan chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Crushed candy canes or peppermint candies, for garnish
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 175F 350C
Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and salt to a bowl
Mix the ingredients together until a dough forms
To make the crust, press the dough into the pans bottom and up its sides
After baking for 10 to 12 minutes, let it cool down completely
Coconut cream should be heated in a saucepan until it starts to simmer
Take it off the heat and stir in the vegan chocolate chips until they are smooth and melted
Add peppermint extract and mix well
Put the chocolate mix into the tart shell after it has cooled and spread it out evenly
Put it in the fridge for at least two hours, or until it sets
Crush candy canes or peppermint candies and sprinkle them on top before serving
